Choreography of Bharatnatyam dance at DPS, Greater Noida

On February 25th, 2023, Rashmi Khanna conducted an intensive and insightful full-day session on the choreography of Bharatnatyam dance. The workshop was held at the Delhi Public School Society Human Resource Centre, located in Greater Noida Knowledge Park 5. This offline programme was specifically designed for over 100 dance teachers from various Delhi Public Schools across India ,who are dedicated to teaching Indian classical dance.

During the session, participants gained valuable insights into various aspects of choreography, including movement dynamics, visuo-spatial techniques, and onstage pattern creation. Rashmi Khanna emphasized the importance of crafting a visually engaging experience for the audience while considering the skill level and training of the students. The workshop offered practical guidance on how to effectively design and execute choreographic sequences that enhance both the performance and the educational experience of the students.

The session was a resounding success, providing the teachers with new tools and perspectives to enrich their teaching methods and elevate the quality of Bharatnatyam performances in their respective schools.
